Login to CM navigate to Services –> Hive–> Configuration –> View/Edit. 
2. On the left pane, navigate to Hiveserver2 –> Advanced. 
3/. On the resulting page, you will see a text box for “HiveServer2 Configuration Safety Valve for hive-site.xml”. 
4. Place the below in that text box and “Save Changes”
